We are delighted to be the only UK based source for the handcrafted, responsibly produced jewellery from South Africa. The contemporary jewellery is designed and made by small artisan groups often providing the only source of income for a family.
Most of the jewellery is made from recycled materials. The most unexpected materials in the right hands can be turned into beautiful, unusual jewellery. Materials include telegraph wire, rubber tyres and metals parts from discarded electrical goods.
We believe that there is a growing desire for products that are special, have been produced in small quantities and support communities. Handmade is the “new luxury”.
